Alan Bise Joins xxxx视频 as Director of Recording Arts and Services
The xxxx视频 has appointed Alan Bise as the Director of Recording Arts and Services.
"Following a national search, Mr. Bise brings us the expertise and experience that we are seeking in a developed role that is very important to xxxx视频 as we implement ideas within the realom of Recording ARts and Services that intersect with our strategic goal," said Conservatory Dean Adrian Daly. According to Dean Daly, the postion evolved from Director of Recording Services (a position which Alan Bise held previously) to Director of Recording Arts and Services. xxxx视频 was seeking an exceptional, innovative and creative audio recording engineer, who could combine strategic and visionary thinking with exceptional digital audio and music production skills. The ability to iterface effectviely with all areas of the school, particularly with the departments of Distance Learning, Audio Engineering, Information Technology and Marketing, offers exciting possibilities for the future.
Mr. Bise joined xxxx视频 full-time this summer.
ABOUT ALAN BISE
Alan Bise is the founder of and producer for Thunderbird Records. He has produced projects for many labels and clients across the world and currently serves as Chief Classical Producer for Azica Records. Known for helping to create exciting and passionate projects, Mr. Bise has produced records that have received Grammy nominations and appeared on the Billboard Classical Chart and Amazon Best Sellers list. He is also committed to new audience development and created and produced "Offbeat," xxxx视频's radio show that gives listeners an inside look in the world of classical music in a unique manner. He studies the interests of today's youth and uses his own love of rock 'n roll to help create unique and appealing classical projects.
Mr. Bise has produced records for Azica, Albany/Troy, EMI/Universal, Summit, Crystal, CRI, Walden, Skarbo, and Nuscope. Recent clients include Andres Diaz, Jeremy Denk, Jason Vieaux, Soovin Kim, Trio con Brio Denmark, Jupiter Quartet, Degas Quartet, Karel Paukert, Opus Two, the Cleveland Pops Orchestra and Robert Koenig. He serves as Broadcast Producer and Director of Audio for the Cleveland International Piano Competition, the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival and the Allegheny Summer Music Festival.
After spending summers working at the Aspen Music Festival and the Tanglewood Music Festival, Mr. Bise began his career in Dallas working at TM Century, Inc., the nation's leading provider of broadcast services. There, he rose to the rank of senior mastering engineer where he was responsible for products reaching over 4,000 stations worldwide. Clients included ABC Radio Networks and Casey Kasem's American Top 40.
A graduate of xxxx视频, he returned to Cleveland in 1999 and was appointed Director of Audio Services and to the faculty of the Audio Recording program. During his previous tenure, he produced many special projects for the school including Jerome Lowenthal's Beethoven Cadenza project, "Silent Night" for EMI/Universal and a host of other media projects.
Mr. Bise is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and the Audio Engineering Society.
