Due to illness among the cast and crew, the xxxxÊÓƵ Opera Theater: Muhly’s Dark Sisters has unfortunately been cancelled for February 1 and 2, 2025 at 2pm in Gartner Auditorium at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Refunds will be issued to all ticket holders. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

After the removal of her child by government authorities, Elisa, a wife and grieving mother in an FLDS community and polygamous household, begins to question the authority of her husband and the revelations he claims to receive. Inspired by actual events in the early 2000s, Dark Sisters is a portrait of one woman’s coming to terms with doubts, contradictions, and a life that – if left unchanged – threatens the well-being of her young daughter.
